Galex

The Game

Galex is a small little game where you dodge and shoot asteroids, very simple right?

In the game you start with your score as zero and everytime you shoot an asteroid your score adds up by one and the higher your score is the  more asteroids spawn!

How to play?

Press Q to go UP

Press A to go DOWN

Press F to SHOOT

simple!

Information

I made this game in the span of 4 days using C++ and SDL2, the reason the game took so long to make is because i was learning SDL2 and uhhh.... procastination, lol, and the pixel art went through alot of changes...

The libraries that i used was SDL2, SDL2_image (for art) and SDL2_mixer (for sound effects)

I made the sound effects with jsfxr, cuz its very easy, make some sound effects yourself if you want: jsfxr - 8 bit sound maker and online sfx generator

How to run

Simply just extract Galex.zip and drag the Galex folder wherever you want and then open Galex.exe, boom you got the game up and running!
